It's officially summer... so naturally it's raining πŸ™„

Hello Reader,

First of all, a warm welcome to everyone who has recently joined the newsletter. It's lovely to have you here.

For those of you who are new, I'm Lou, a gift wrapping trainer, speaker and self-confessed ribbon enthusiast who helps people wrap gifts beautifully with confidence and less stress πŸŽ€

On Monday, meteorological summer officially arrived...unfortunately, nobody seems to have told the weather. Here in County Durham, it has felt more like autumn than summer at times, with plenty of rain and grey skies - the Bank Holiday week of record-breaking weather is now a distant memory.

Whilst the weather has been doing its thing outside, I've been spending time behind the scenes talking about something rather different...

Christmas.

(sorry again).

Quite a lot, actually.

This week I've been discussing festive classes, guest experiences and Christmas events for later this year.

A few years ago, I probably would have thought that sounded ridiculously early.

These days, it sends me straight back to my retail days, where Christmas floor plans had to be signed off by the end of May!

And yes, I can already see the eye-rolling and the murmurs of "too soon!" 🀣

But the truth is that the best festive experiences rarely happen by accident. They usually start with conversations and planning long before the decorations appear.

It's one of the things I enjoy most about what I do. I get a little glimpse into Christmas before everyone else.

One of the organisations I've been speaking to this week has already confirmed they'd like to go ahead with a festive online class for their members. It's always exciting when a conversation turns into a booking, and I'm looking forward to helping even more people approach their Christmas gift wrapping with confidence and less stress.

🎁 Priority Access - Opens Soon

Just a little heads-up! On 21 June, I'll be opening Priority Access for my Signature Gift Wrapping Made Easyβ„’ Class, taking place on Saturday, 14 November at The Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn.

Priority Access members will be the first to hear about a special Summer Solstice offer, including an exclusive bonus gift pack.

If you'd like to be among the first to hear the details and haven't joined yet, you can still join the Priority Access List here:

Whatever you're up to this weekend, I hope you find a little time to relax, recharge and enjoy it.

Best wishes,

Lou

P.P.S. A few people have asked recently whether there's a way to support my work outside of attending classes. So I've recently set up a Buy Me A Coffee page, which I'll gradually be using to share a few extra gift wrapping tips, resources, behind-the-scenes updates and subscriber-only content.
