The more ordinary side to being a pro gift wrapper! 😁

Hello Reader,

If you're new to this newsletter, welcome...πŸ‘‹

Every week, I share gift wrapping tips, behind-the-scenes updates and the occasional glimpse into life as a professional gift wrapper.

You may think that running a gift wrapping business is all gorgeous wrapping paper, creating beautiful bows, piles of gifts and delivering training, classes and events...

And sometimes it is.

But the reality is often much more ordinary.

This week, my to-do list included:

  • Following up on class proposals for the festive season
  • Sending information for an online Signature Gift Wrapping Made Easyβ„’ Class
  • Updating class Terms & Conditions and FAQs
  • Writing and scheduling content, including my latest Substack post
  • Reviewing the stats for a recent LinkedIn article (my first one!)
  • Reaching out to people I've worked with before to help them get their festive gift wrapping plans organised before the September and October rush
  • Speaking to my running coach, who lives in Australia (my other life!)

And, of course...

β˜• Drinking tea.

None of these tasks are particularly glamorous, but they're all important (especially the tea drinking!).

Because it's the planning, preparation and relationship-building that happens now which allows me to do the part I love later in the year: teaching people how to gift wrap with confidence, whether that's at a corporate event, an online class, or my Signature Gift Wrapping Made Easyβ„’ in-person gift wrapping class πŸ™‚

A new way to get in touch

A few people have asked whether they can contact me via WhatsApp rather than email, so I've decided to make that an option.

If you have a question about a class, corporate training session, team building activity, or gift wrapping in general, you're very welcome to send me a WhatsApp message on:

I'd love to hear from you.

A quick note for Priority Access List members

If you joined the Priority Access List for my Signature Gift Wrapping Made Easyβ„’ in-person gift wrapping class, keep an eye on your inbox next weekend.

I'll be sharing all the details, along with a little something extra for Priority Access members! More soon...

I hope you're enjoying a little sunshine wherever you are this weekend. As a runner, I am slightly obsessive when it comes to the weather 🀣

Best wishes,

Lou

Hello Reader, If you've been reading my newsletters for a while, you may notice a few changes over the coming weeks.
